Pam Didner, selected as one of BtoB’s Top Digital Marketers in 2011 and 2012, is a global content marketing strategist, author and speaker. Her book, “Global Content Marketing” (fall 2014, McGraw-Hill), is the first content marketing book to offer a complete process to scale content across regions.
With years of experience in multiple global roles, Pam Didner is an expert at creating successful global marketing plans that meet local marketing needs. As a former Global Integrated Marketing Strategist for Intel, she led Intel’s Enterprise product launches and worldwide marketing campaigns. She provided strategic guidance on audience development, messaging architecture, editorial planning, content creation, media buys and social media outreach on a global scale. She also speaks Chinese fluently and understands Chinese business protocols.
Pam has given keynotes, presentations, and workshops at conferences in the United States and Europe. She also shares her marketing thoughts on www.globalcontent.marketing and contributes articles to the Guardian, the Huffington Post, Relevance.com, Daily Crowd Sourcing, Content Marketing Institute, and other publications.
She is not your typical marketer. Pam started as a CPA, then held various positions in finance, accounting, planning, operations, purchasing, event marketing, and marketing strategy. With diverse experience, she has a holistic view of how a company runs and has the keen ability to pinpoint the role of a company’s marketing department should play in an organization. She thinks strategically, then translates “the big picture” into “actionable” plans and tactics. Pam also has years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-regional teams and getting things done.
She is based in Portland, Oregon.
